I have successfully broken my family's birth order pattern of AABA, and have made my own... AABB. Now Stephen gets a little brother to play trains with, and I'm very glad of that! (We told Stephen that, and he's not happy. He likes to keep his trains to himself :)
Now we just have to decide on a name for him. Here are our choices so far....
Spencer (mommy)
Gordon (Emily)
Jordan (April)
Thomas (Stephen, of course)
George (Emily)
Daddy has no comment yet (as usual :)
Please send us your preferences, so we have a larger list to choose from. I'm tired of looking at the weird names in the baby name book.
And, aside from choosing a name, we just have to wait. Everyone got to go to my dr appt this morning, since it's Thanksgiving break, and now Emily just can't stop talking about the new baby. She keeps asking if the baby is born yet (duh!) and we're trying to explain to her it will still be a LONG time.
It was very cute watching the baby during the sonogram. He wasn't moving around too much, but he was opening and closing his mouth. My dr said he was saying hi, so all the kids said hi back. It was so funny. And the baby likes to lay with his arm draped over his head, just like Daddy when he sleeps.

Yeah!!!!! Ok then, hmmm, boy....I think Thomas would be cute. And just think--the boys can share a room! How lucky are you?!? I'll start thinking of boy names.
